Emmanuelle Alt's Closet

I am pleased to introduce a new feature on I Want To Be An Alt... Emmanuelle Alt's Closet! I have added "Armoire De Alt" in the sidebar on the right and posted the first items which I will unveil throughout the day. Cataloging the rock chic style of Emmanuelle Alt from Alaïa to Zanotti, each journal entry will display a photo of the item from Emmanuelle's closet along with various shots of her wearing the piece. Obviously we will see lots of Balmain, Isabel Marant, and Balenciaga, among other favorite labels. I hope you will enjoy spending time in Emmanuelle's closet.

A sampling of what you will find in the wardrobe of Emmanuelle Alt…

Best idea ever! Always like EA's belts, would like to know, if they are all Balmain?

Thanks for your kind words, Diva! Stay tuned for more on EA's Balmain belts...

Great! It just proves that it's worth to invest in one great piece; i love seeing her wearing the pieces over and over. I've been drooling over that belt forever. Too bad it's from 2010. Great section!

Absolutely Azrakun! I find that "quality over quantity" is a perfect mantra for shopping. I am happy to hear that you like this new section!

Thanks, Kellina! This Balmain belt is my favourite ;-)) I totally agree with Azrakun: too bad it is from 2010...I should have known this earlier!
At least I got the J Brand Lovestory and I will wear it tomorrow.
Looking forward to seeing more pieces....

I love this post !
Everyone wants to get this Balmain belt ! Though I've said before, I really wanted this belt too...
Why I'm a deep fan of Emmanuelle, she has her own style anytime anywhere. You know there are very simple styles. Shirts, white denim, belt, cartier watch and sometimes Hermes bangle. Even if I have same items, I can't be the coolest like her. Because Emmanuelle style is just her own style. I'm trying to get my own style like her. But my love to her is too big, I can't stop thinking how I get same item :-) haha,,,

Diva, I am glad that Balmain belt turns out to be your favorite! Sorry you don't have it yourself but I am sure you look Parisienne chic today in your EA Lovestory jeans.

:)

THANKS YUKA!

I am happy to see you in the comments! Everyone does want this belt, it's amazing. You are right again, Emmanuelle's style is her own, always. I understand your obsession but I am sure your own style is incredible, too.

:-)

Beeing in Germany and feeling like a "Parisienne" in the Lovestory jeans today was already more than you normally can expect from a totally wet and cold first day of spring : -)
We are all deep fans of the gorgeous EA-style, but we are also all people with our own gorgeous style - I am very sure for that, because if not, we won't be here and discussing "style". The EA-style is so simple and in my opinion the secret behind is self-confidence, self-content and self-loyalty. A Balmain belt is more than a Balmain belt, when Emanuelle Alt is wearing it.

I add a "m" at Emmanuelle - sorry, was already late...

Beautifully stated, Diva! I absolutely agree. I love imagining you in your Lovestory jeans, rocking the status quo. Happy Spring!
