Emmanuelle Alt: Paris Fashion Week Looks

I have added photographs of Emmanuelle Alt at Paris Fashion Week to the photo gallery, let's take a peek at the sartorial choices of the new editor-in-chief for Vogue Paris on her home turf. I like the sage green button down paired with the worn denim jeans and navy blazer, casual but sharp. I especially love Emmanuelle's rosy cheeks against her white jacket at the Vogue Paris party, she is clearly flushed with excitement and perhaps a beverage or two. What do you think of Emmanuelle's looks for Paris Fashion Week so far?

Vogue Paris: Petit Salon Des Jeunes Créateurs

Left to right: Yiqing Yin, Damir Doma, Alberto Marani, Vincent Darré, Olympia Le-Tan, Anthony Vaccarello, Maxime Simoens, and Ligia Dias

Last night Vogue Paris opened their Petit Salon des Jeunes Créateurs (or Little Salon of Young Artists) as part of this season's Vogue Bar at Hôtel de Crillon and what a party it was! Also notable as Emmanuelle Alt's first time officially hosting an event for the magazine, the bar overflowed with friends of Vogue Paris, models, designers, editors, photographers, and journalists who turned out to honor the young creators: Vincent Darré, Ligia Dias, Damir Doma, Olympia Le-Tan, Alberto Marani, Maxime Simoens, Anthony Vaccarello, and Yiqing Yin. Visit the Vogue Paris web site to view the adorable collection of autographed Polaroids commemorating the evening as well as other fabulous photos.

Emmanuelle Alt At Chanel

Very special thanks to Adelap for graciously sharing with us this striking photograph of Emmanuelle Alt outside of the Chanel show at Paris Fashion Week last season. She also took the time to capture a unique black and white video of the surreality accompanying the show, as she says she went to "the heart of the thing, in the heart of the beast, in this whirlwind of movement, smells, jewelry, faces, photographers, furs, stars, sounds of life... a whirlwind!" For a sublime taste of life at Paris Fashion Week, visit Adelap's site to view the Chanel video and more photos.

Emmanuelle Alt At Paris Fashion Week

Thanks to Eveline Fashion-Diary we have this fun candid snapshot of Vogue Paris editor-in-chief Emmanuelle Alt commencing her first Fashion Week in Paris as the woman in charge. Can someone fill me in on the baseball jacket that Emmanuelle is wearing? Visit Eveline's site for more of her fabulous photos celebrating the first day of Paris Fashion Week.

Emmanuelle Alt: Week-end

In 1993, Emmanuelle Alt joined the French teen magazine 20 Ans as fashion editor and worked for five years there before moving to Mixte in 1998. The editorial pictured here titled "Week-end" is an example of Emmanuelle's styling from this period in her life. It was shot by David Lasnet for the July 1997 issue of 20 Ans.
