Vogue Paris September 2011: Charlotte Casiraghi

For the much anticipated September issue of Vogue Paris, Emmanuelle Alt chose royal Charlotte Casiraghi, fourth in line to the throne of Monaco at just 25 years of age. Charlotte is the daughter of Caroline of Monaco and Hanover and the late Stefano Casiraghi; her grandmother was Grace Kelly. Casiraghi is often listed among the world's best dressed and most eligible young women. She is noted as a passionate and accomplished equestrienne, currently serving as Gucci's equestrian ambassador and dressing for competitions in clothes designed exclusively for her by Frida Giannini. She is also a published author and editor and works to promote sustainability in fashion. Mario Testino photographed Casiraghi for the September cover. Note that the price has doubled, at least in France...

Welcome back Mario! His last cover is the June/July 2008... It kinda reminds me of the Jessica Noel US Vogue..Damn MR. Testino's work is in every Vogue's major edition except Italian offcourse

Cool, mts! Glad to hear you are happy with it!

I don't know the page count yet, Bernie. Has it really been that long for Mario?! But looking at my records, you are absolutely right, Laetitia Casta and Noemie Renoir! How do you do that? That's like people with baseball statistics, totally baffling. Did you literally look at it and say, oh, Mario's first since June 2008?

yes i just see the full photoshot ... i like it ... but i imagined her more like a Natalia Vodianova`s photoshoot of her family that she did with mario testino as well ,
i still hope to see a more natural photoshot of her.
I love the photo with her dog... it looks like mine :D

Love

I live in Paris and I have a subscription to French Vogue. I received my September issue in the mail last week and I can confirm that there is no T shirt included.

Ohh i've realized something..she is the fourth Princess of Monaco to grace the cover of Vogue not just Vogue but Paris Vogue!!! Who would forget the portrait of Caroline of Hanover by beaton? Unfortunately one of his last sittings
31 août 2011 | Unregistered Commenterbernie
Interesting point, Baron, was the Beaton portrait of Caroline for Vogue Paris? Do you happen to know the date of the issue?
